To create new custom liveries for WRC 4/ WRC 3 ( WRC 2010) PC Games You have to do the following process:
- Download Mixfile_Remixer application
Download
- Unpack CARS.mix (or any other .MIX) file to a choosen folder
How To Unpack a .MIX file by mesa-video
- Create Your paint (Use a graphical editor software which can handle .DDS files, ex. Photoshop or paint.NET)
- When You finished, You have to archive files abck to CARS.mix. (Important to select the root (top) folder where you extracted files from CARS.mix.
DO NOT FORGET TO SELECT SBK-X/V8 OPTION, BECAUSE YOUR GAME WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY.
Note: May You have to set untick write protection on CARS.mix file before you try to overwrite it by Mixfile Remixer.
